Famous Malayalam Actor And Singer Kalabhavan Mani Died: The most famous and well known artist of Malayalam film industry died on March 7, 2015 evening in Kochi. The actor was sick in recent days and was suffering from health issues related to Liver and Kidney. The was was under treatment in Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences.The actor acted in more than 200 movies and also won some prestigious awards. The actor was in his 45 years.

Kalabhavan Mani who was a famous actor in the Malayalam Film Industry passed away at the age of 45. It is learnt that the actor had been suffering from health problems related liver and kidneys and was admitted in the Hospital. He was undergoing medical treatment in Amrita Institue of Medical Sciences in Kochi.

According to the report given by Dr Sanjeev Singh, Senior Medical Administrator at the Hospital, The actor was admitted in the hospital on Saturday late hours with a complaint of blood vomitings due to liver and Kidney ailments.

But the police officials have registered a case of unnatural death after receiving a complaint that there are some chemicals present on the body of the actor. Hence, the police officials had decided to conduct post mortem of the body in order to know the cause of the death. The most mortem will be conducted at Thrissur Medical College.After postmortem the body would be handed over to his family and the cremation will be conducted at Chalakudy by today evening.


Kalabhavan Mani is an Auto Driver before entered into the industry at Chalakudy. He was a mimicry artist and used to perform mimicry at Kalabhavan which is a centre for learning performing arts in Kochi. His movies career started with the movie Aksharam which was directed by Siby Malayil. The actor had also had the knowledge of singing and he had made several albums of folk songs and religious songs.

Not only in the Malayalam film Industry, he also acted for Telugu and Tamil Film Industries. He also won several awards for his versatile acting in Vasanthiyum, Lakshmiyum, Pinne Njanum. The actor got Kerala State Film Award for this film as the best actor in 1999 and also special Jury Award at National Film Awards.

The Malayalam Film Industry and the fans of the actor shocked with his sudden death. Many actors and actresses paid tributes to the actor. PM Narendra Modi, expressed his condolences for the actor with a tweet. Chief Minister Oomen Chandy and many other leaders expresses condolences.

The Malayalam Film Industry had saw the deaths of few actors in recent times. The industry lost actress Kalpana, Director Rajesh Pillai, Mahanroop and Lyricist ONV Kurup in past.
