Hero MotoCorp seems busy in its new or facelift models as the firm is working on the facelift version of the Hero Hunk that has been spotted during the testing for the first time since its inception. The 2016 Hunk looks very identical with its current version. The motorcycle might get some cosmetic and mechanical changes to make it much appealing than its outgoing version. The changes might be a new headlamp, body graphics, instrument cluster and new cowl. Moreover, the motorcycle would be received revised engine, that has been used in CBZ Xtreme Sports, to compete with the rivals as Honda CB Unicorn 160, Apache 160 and newly introduced Honda CB Hornet 160R.
The Hunk is expected to share its engine with the Xtreme Sports. The Xtreme Sports is powered by the refined 149.2cc, air-cooled and four-stroke engine that returns a maximum power of 15.2 BHP at 8500 RPM and 13.5 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission. Moreover, the motorcycle will be featured with front and rear MRF tyre.
The gas charged shock absorbers of the test spy shots appear to be fitted upside down forks that are finished in black instead of red. The 2016 Hunk will be positioned below the newly launched Hero Xtreme Sports, while the price of 2016 facelift model will be similar to the CBZ Xtreme Sports. Well, we have to wait for the official announcement to get know more about the 2016 Hero Hunk.
