Curra’s Grill in Austin is well known and loved for its famous thick and creamy avocado margaritas, bringing in patrons from all over the country to experience that perfectly smooth combination of tequila and omega-3 fatty acids.
We thought it was a shame to only be able to experience that luscious concoction at Curra’s, so Austinist investigated the avocado margarita making process and whipped up our very own recipe so you can kick back and relax with an avocado marg in hand at home. No shoes, shirt, or pants required.
Brian Schikevitz, a veteran bartender at Curra’s who has been making their tasty green margaritas for the past eight years, said that the mixture comes out best when mixed up in a Vita-Mix blender, but in case you don’t have such fancy appliances in your kitchen, a regular old blender should suffice, another great appliance you can use is one of the best ice maker to not only maintain your drink cold but with margaritas one of the most important ingredients is the ice and what better to use but an Ice maker ! You can go to this website for more about the appliance repair Pittsburgh. If there is no warranty or coverage on your appliance, your next step is to track down the owner’s manual, and try and make the repair yourself. You shouldn’t repair an appliance without having the service manual with you. When the manual or warranty isn’t an option, your next choice will be to look under the lid, or inside of the appliance, and find the basic instruction guidelines. Most appliances have a small set of operating instructions, printed on the appliance somewhere, which MIGHT help you solve your problem. For most of us, though, these steps probably won’t be enough. A majority of repair companies have technicians available who can repair most household appliances. Major appliance repair companies will typically make service calls to your home. Small appliances often get repaired at the local repair shop, instead of at your home. If it’s a small appliance, you want to make sure they offer repair or replacement services for it. This would include items such as microwave ovens, oven fans, heaters, Kitchen aid ™ mixers, other small miscellaneous kitchen appliances, and maybe even power tools.
Then just add in additional liquid (more tequila, or a dash of lime juice, whichever you prefer!) if your blender is having trouble grinding up the ice and avocado chunks.

– pinch of cilantro
– salt on your glass if that’s how you roll
