Indian TV Commedian Sunil Grover To Return To TV With Akshay Kumar’s The Great Indian Laughter Challenge

Ever since comedian Sunil Grover, who has garnered a lot of popularity with character Gutthi on The Kapil Sharma Show, has walked out of the Kapil Sharma’s show, fans have been awaiting his return to the small screen. Well, it looks like, fans wish is going to soon come true. Yes, the buzz is that Sunil will soon make a comeback on TV as he has bagged a television show. The actor-comedian is in talks to be the host for Akshay Kumar’s The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. Wow! Isn’t that a great news?

While Akshay, who has made us laugh her lungs out with a number of his roles in Bollywood films, will be the judge of the The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, reportedly we will see Zakhir Khan (the famous sakht launda – standup comedian), Mallika Dua (who is an internet sensation) and Hussain Dalal to be the mentors on the show. Also, as per a report in a leading daily, Sunil Grover will be replacing Elli Avram.

In a statement to an entertainment portal, a source close to the production, said, “It’s a laughter show and we have had a screen test and rehearsals with our mentors and host Elli. We now feel she doesn’t fit the bill and isn’t able to pull off Hindi as required for the show. We’re now in talks with Sunil Grover and working on dates. If all goes well, we will have him as the host.”

So, are you excited to see The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, as your favourite comedian will once again leave you in splits with his brilliant performance?
