With 2015 coming to an end, Google has released its top searches of 2015. The mother of all search engines processes over 40,000 search queries per second on average, which is about 3.5 billion searches per day and 1.2 trillion searches per year worldwide. With so many searches, everyone is probably wondering what are the top searches in 2015.

Sunny Leone managed to beat giants like Salman Khan (2nd), APJ Abdul Kalam (3rd), Katrina Kaif (4th) and Deepika Padukone (5th). Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan came in at number six and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi fell to the 10th spot from his previous 2nd in 2014.

Sunny Leone nabs the top spot once again as the most searched person in India. The ex-pornstar has intrigued the Indian audience ever since 2011 when she participated in the Indian reality television series Bigg Boss and her subsequent performance on the big screen Bollywood film Jism 2.

It probably comes as no surprise that ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 was the top trending search of 2015 in India. It was followed by Bahubali (2nd), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (3rd), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (4th), and Indian Premier League (5th). The hit TV show presented by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 9 came in at the 8th spot.
