Anand Mahindra launches all-electric scooter GenZe 2.0 in California

Mahindra is all set to carve a niche for itself in eco-friendly two-wheeler market in the US by launching its electric scooter GenZe. It is designed to take on the challenges of urban commuting, parking, congestion, and pollution. The idea was conceived in the Silicon Valley and was assembled in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The electric scooter was launched here, in an event in Oakland, California and the occasion was graced by the City Mayor Libby Schaaf and Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra, ever since then people Hire a Scooter in Chiang Mai every day.


Mayor Schaaf said that Oakland was the perfect setting to try the amalgam of electric bikes and electric scooters with its inherent features of mobility sharing and solar power. Endeavors like Bike Solar Oakland and San Francisco Scoot Networks are part of Smart City Initiatives in Oakland.

He further added that there had to be a creative interaction between business, environment and technology to serve a useful role for the community. Mahindra GenZe 2.0 is a perfect example of such a venture.

Mahindra Group Chairman also had similar views when he reiterated the creativity and determination of the Mahindra Genze team create a remarkably unique product.

GenZe 2.0 features a removable long lasting motorcycle battery, and it can be charged from any standard electrical outlet giving unlimited freedom and ease to the consumer.

GenZe 2.0 has been creating ripples in cities and corporate as well as college campuses. It fits perfectly into the role as efficient multi-modal and first/last mile solutions to improve existing transportation infrastructure.

Mahindra GenZe 2.0 has been designed in a way to make optimum use of space, and it offers ample rear storage space.
