Mumbai based Ideas Unplugged Technologies Pvt Ltd, that operates Happy2Refer, an online job hiring platform with referral as its USP has raised $250,000 (about Rs 1.64 crore) from early-stage domestic investor networks Equity Crest, Vinners and Sparknext, along with a host of individual investors that also includes media and entertainment industry professional Sunil Lulla, it said on Tuesday.
In a telephonic interaction with Dailybouncer, Nimit Bavishi, co-founder of Happy2Refer, said that the funds will be used for product development, marketing &sales and customer acquisition.
“We have built a model that creates a viral win-win experience. If you work in pharma sales, you are best suited to understand a pharma sales job requirement. Furthermore, you have the largest high-quality network in pharma sales. Ideally, you should be empowered to discover and refer great-fit people from your network and get rewarded if your referral makes it,” said Bavishi.
He added that people can earn 20-30 per cent of their annual salary more from making the right referrals, which gives HR a pool of high-quality curated profiles to look at.
