Saudi Arabia: At Least 25 Dead 107 Injured in Major Fire At Jazan General Hospital

At least 25 people were killed and 107 injured in a fire at a hospital in southern Saudi Arabia on Thursday, the civil defence agency said.

The blaze broke out at the intensive care unit and the maternity department of the Jazan General Hospital in southern Saudi Arabia, the agency announced on Twitter.

In its latest tweet, the civil defence announced that the “Jazan hospital accident is now over and investigation is underway to find out its reasons.”

DB has tweeted news and pictures of the incident and said the toll has gone up to 31, quoting official sources.
