Sony to launch new smartphone on August 3, likely Xperia Ultra C5 – Sony Xperia mobile’s Twitter account has shared a tweet talking about a new phone that will hit the markets on August 3. If online rumors are to be believed, the phone is most likely to be the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra.
The company said, “Focus closely now, a new way to capture split-second photos is coming. 03.08.15 #Xperia.”
The use of words in the tweet clearly points towards a smartphone with an impressive camera. ‘Focus closely now,’ ‘split-second photos,’ most likely indicate towards a brand new auto-focus system on the upcoming Sony smartphone.
A previous disclosure puts forward that the phone will feature a 5.5-inch full HD display and will be powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 SoC packing an octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone is likely to sport two 13MP cameras and will come with Sony IMX230 sensor which is also seen on the Moto X Style and Moto X Pure edition smartphones.
Xperia Blog also has some disclosed images as well as the user manual of the alleged Xperia Ultra C5 smartphone.
